Pierre-Paul Allard
Vice President, Worldwide Enterprise Marketing
Cisco Systems, Inc.
In his current role as Vice President of Worldwide Enterprise Marketing, Pierre-Paul Allard is focusing on accelerating Cisco’s business in the enterprise space by creating innovative programs and solutions within pivotal vertical and horizontal market segments in order to showcase the Enterprise Architecture. His goal is to deliver relevant content to Cisco’s global sales force to contribute to the company’s top line growth in revenue and market share.

Mr. Allard is a 10-year Cisco veteran. His previous positions include Regional Manager of Eastern Canada, Director of Enterprise Operations and most recently, Managing Director of Cisco Systems Canada.

During that tenure, Mr. Allard led Cisco Systems Canada in becoming one of the company’s most successful international operations. His team has consistently exceeded sales targets and between FY ‘00 and FY ‘02, Canada’s percentage of worldwide bookings grew 22 percent. Additionally, Canada has consistently met or exceeded worldwide market share targets, including a rise from 48 to 53 percent in stackable switching, and 53 to 77 percent in modular switching since FY ‘00. Mr. Allard played a prominent role in establishing Cisco as one of Canada’s most respected information technology companies.

Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Allard held various Engineering, Sales and Marketing positions at IBM. He attended the University of Ottawa where he graduated with degrees in Finance, Marketing and Biology.

Mr. Allard serves as a member of several boards of directors including l’Institut de Cardiologie de Quebec, Lumenon Innovative Lightwave Technology, Inc and the Toronto Blue Jays Charitable Foundation. He also co-chairs the Canadian e-Business Initiative, a private-public partnership designed to identify and measure the role e-Business can play in raising productivity levels, creating jobs and advancing the competitive position of Canadian firms in the global marketplace.
