Juan M. Allongo – Business Resiliency LoB Lead Mgr.- JPMorgan Chase - Treasury Services (Panel Member)
Juan M. Allongo currently serves as a Business Resiliency LoB Lead Manager for JPMorgan Chase - Treasury Services - Technology Office reporting to TS LoB DR Director – Tom Poplawski. Juan has 30 years experience as a technologist and as a business continuity – disaster recovery planner. He is a former member of Industry Best Practices Committee for SIFMA, as well as, the Testing Practices committees for SIFMA and FIA. Juan has worked previously at CSFB, ITG, DGF , Home, Beth Israel, NYSA, and IBM. He has experience with multiple paltforms such as mainframe (IBM, Hitachi, Amdahl), AS/400, Stratus, VAX, Unix-Linux, and Wintel. In addition to Business Resiliency (BC and DR), Juan's other areas of expertise include programming, infrastructure support, storage administration, performance and capacity planning. Juan has served as an adjunct professor designing and teaching courses at TCNJ and MCCC and has also taught at Rutgers University and NYU. Juan earned a B.S. from NYU in Management and International Business and a PhD (Distance Learning) from TSU in Business – Technology Management.
