Joe Aloia, Director of Web Services / Emerging Technologies , FullTilt Solutions
Joe Aloia brings over two decades of experience in systems design and software development to his position as FullTilt's Director of Web Services / Emerging Technologies. Mr. Aloia is directly responsible for providing technical management oversight for all of FullTilt's client technology development projects. In addition, he is responsible for system design, technology recommendations and resource allocation. Mr. Aloia leverages industry standards and demonstrated best practices to ensure prompt and efficient delivery of state-of-the-art, client-focused solutions. Prior to joining FullTilt in January 2002, Mr. Aloia co-founded [as CTO] a start-up company called Tybio, an e-business consulting firm that specialized in Web Services, that successfully merged with FullTilt. In an effort to provide a consulting accelerator relating to Web Services design, development and deployment, he designed and developed a suite of products and runtime environment called Cydio. Prior to this, he was responsible for the management, design, and development of numerous corporate and commercial software initiatives. He spent many years as a successful independent consultant, with clients that included Merck, AC Nielsen, and IMS America. Mr. Aloia had previously served as Director of Application Development and Systems Architecture for AC Nielsen. At AC Nielsen, he was responsible for the creation and management of the Custom Application Development division, growing the staff from three entry-level employees to over two dozen, including full-time employees and consultants/contractors. Mr. Aloia was responsible for software initiatives that were composed of both system-level toolsets and value-added applications based on these tools. He has been involved in successful engagements with JP Morgan, Nabisco, and Wyeth. Mr. Aloia earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College.
