James L. Bindseil Technical Operations Manager, Americas Symantec Security Services James L. Bindseil is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) with more than 13 years of information technology experience. As the Technical Operations Manager for Symantec Security Services, he applies his extensive network engineering knowledge to provide integrated solutions to corporations of all sizes, including numerous Fortune 50 companies. Prior to joining Symantec, Mr. Bindseil worked as a senior network administrator, where he designed, installed and managed a corporate encryption system for secure communications over the Internet. Previous to that, Mr. Bindseil also worked as a network administrator where he designed, implemented, secured and managed wide area, local area and remote access networks, and integrated microcomputer and mainframe computing environments. Mr. Bindseil earned a bachelor of arts degree, with honors, from the University of Phoenix. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a Microsoft Certified Product Specialist, with additional certifications in LAN Manager 2.1, Windows NT and Advanced Network Administration.
