Philip Carter joined Cisco Systems as a Technical Marketing Engineer in 1998 with 12 years experience in the telecommunications industry gained through positions with NEC, MCI, Inc., and PageMart Wireless. After two years of global sales support for Cisco’s IP Video Communication products, he transferred to Cisco’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore, where he was Cisco’s Asia Pacific Product Manager for IP Voice and Video Communication products. Mr. Carter is currently advising Cisco’s New York Metro Enterprise Sales team as the Area Sales Director for mobility products. Mr. Carter has a Bachelor of Science, Industrial Distribution, from Texas A&M University, USA, 1986, and an Masters of Business Administration, International Management from the University of Dallas, USA, 1993. He also holds MCSE, and CCNA technical certifications.
