Chopskie, Vice President of Marketing, BDNA Corporation
Ed Chopskie is Vice President of Marketing at BDNA Corp.,
based in in Mountain View, California. Prior
to BDNA, Mr. Chopskie was with Peregrine Systems in San Diego for
9 years in many technical and marketing
leadership roles, including the Vice President of Marketing. Mr.
Chopskie is an expert in IT asset management and ITIL processes
from both formal training and working with leading IT organizations
to help them define
their ITIL and asset management strategies through formal assessment
programs that he developed. Prior to
Peregrine, Mr. Chopskie was with BMC Software in Houston for four
years, where he was part of the Patrol product line launch team.
Mr. Chopskie possesses real-world IT experience from working for
transportation conglomerate CSX, one of largest computing environments
on the East Coast of the U.S., where he learned the science and
art of a production controlled environment. At CSX, Mr. Chopskie
he held a variety of programming and technical positions with the
CICS, DB2 and IMS groups. A popular speaker, Mr. Chopskie presents
at both local and worldwide user groups as well as industry events
including this year’s ITIM, Pink Elephant and HP OpenWorld
conferences. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of North
Florida and participated in Graduate Level Finance and Marketing
studies at Stanford Business School and Harvard Business School.
He holds an ITIL Executive Level Certification.
