VP of Technology, JMorganChase
A 15 year veteran of the financial industry, Mr. Comas
works for JPMorganChase's IT Risk Management developing and operating
the firm's IT security infrastructure for applications. These responsibilities
include application entitlements, PKI, SSL, and secure email solutions.
Previously Mr. Comas was Head of Technology Research for J.P. Morgan,
where he was responsible for evaluating emerging technologies for
investment opportunities as well as incorporating disruptive technologies,
such as wireless, into J.P Morgan's infrastructure. Mr. Comas was
also J.P. Morgan's Chief Technical Architect. He has also run the
trading floor systems for the CSFB's Money Markets desk worldwide,
and has consulted for many firms building trading floor applications
including IBJ's Swaps Desk, Nomura's MBS Desk, Banker's Trust's
Swap application, and Chase's FX Desk. Mr. Comas earned a BS in
Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and has been a member
of IEEE and ACM since 1983. Mr. Comas currently represents JPMorganChase
at WS-I and OASIS.
