Ted Doty, Product Line Manager,Cisco Systems
Ted Doty has been active in the network security community for over twenty years, as a developer, implementer, and designer of secure networks and security products. He has been actively involved in the early stages of several security technologies, including Virtual Private Networks, vulnerability assessment and scanning, and Intrusion Detection Systems. Prior to Cisco, he was Director of Product Management at OKENA . Before this, he was a Product Manager at Internet Security Systems and StorageTek. He has written several articles that have been published in The Computer Security Journal, Business Communication Review, and Datamation, and contributed to Dorothy Denning’s book, Internet Besieged. He is a frequent presenter at industry conferences such as Networkd+Interop and COMDEX.
