Gabrielle Dowling, Manager of IT Security, Proskauer Rose LLP
Gabrielle Dowling oversees all aspects of Proskauer Rose's IT security initiatives and works with various groups both within IT and elsewhere within the firm to continually improve our security posture. She has over 13 years experience in legal IT. Previously, she was Manager of Desktop Applications at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. There, among other things, she was responsible for application threat and vulnerability assessment and remediation, patch management, and antimalware systems. Ms. Dowling has led a panel discussion at Virus Bulletin's 2005 Conference entitled "Dying for Information in the Information Age" and had a related commentary published in the November 2005 edition of that publication. She'll be presenting at Virus Bulletin 2008 in Toronto on the changes companies will have to make in both their antimalware defenses and incident response procedures due to the burgeoning volume of new malware in combination with the increasing use of targeted deployments of such.
