Joe Ferrara, Senior Mgr/Analyst, ABC-TV
Joe Ferrara joined ABC in 2004 where he is responsible for managing applications within the TV network to support financial and broadcasting operations. In this position he is directly involved with IT Sarbanes Oxley controls for audit compliancy. and had transformed the PMO activities by re-engineering procedures and processes to streamline project portfolio management, governance and time tracking activities. Other achievments have included streamlinging the quarterly Sarbanes Oxley audit procedures by setting strict standards and consolidation of the reporting requirements and managing the resources performing the internal audits and collaborated with external auditors on deficiencies and compliancy issues.
Prior to ABC Mr. Ferrara was at Sony Corporation from 1998 - 2004 where as Systems Manager he was involved with applications development and PMO activities. At Sony he directed the development and execution of strategic IT requests for Sony’s products and services across a variety of audiences and channels, including consumer, business/professional, and media. Other responsibilities included: Project management, forecasting, governance, resource capacity planning, estimating, and vendor management.
Mr. Ferrara is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt. he received his: BS in. Information Systems/Business Administration at King's College, Pa.
