Sebastian Font Direction of Information Services Newmark and Co. Mr. Font joined Newmark in 1996 to supervise the re-alignment of technology initiatives with business strategies and objectives. Responsible for all aspects of Newmark’s information systems and technology, Mr. Font managed the expansion of Newmark’s network infrastructure and the standardization of desktop platforms. He has also overseen the development and implementation of property accounting, commissions accounting and other mission-critical real estate software. Most recently, Mr. Font has spearheaded the development and re-launch of Newmark’s Internet and Intranet websites. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Font was president and founder of Fontec Systems, a consulting firm specializing in the development of technology solutions for real estate companies. His clients included Garrick-Aug Associates and Winick Realty Group. While at Fontec, Mr . Font authored the accounting software package “The Commissioner”. Mr. Font received an Electrical Engineering degree from the City University of New York, at the College of Staten Island. He is also a Novell Certified Network Engineer. Contact Us Home
