Edward
Glassman, Technology Managers Forum
Edward Glassman was most recently Vice-President, e-Business at Citigroup.
As leader of global initiatives he was responsible for the strategy,
design and deployment arm for new product development within the e-Business
group and was the creation, global integration, and management of
the e-Business' portfolio of new products as well as the business
architecture. Prior to this position he was Director, Global Technology
Infrastructure, where he developed the strategy and lead the re-engineering
of Citigroup's Internet e-Commerce infrastructure, technology and
services. Prior to Citigroup Mr. Glassman was Director Information
Technology Strategy at Pfizer, where, as a member of the Corporate
Information Technology Leadership Team, he was responsible for management
of evolving technologies, strategy and architecture in several major
areas. Before Pfizer he worked with the IBM Management Consulting
Group, specializing in the assessment of new and emerging technologies
and their impact on business strategies and operations, and authored
and taught major components of the consulting methodology, and served
as Chief Architect for IBM Healthcare's businesses. Prior to this
he worked at Hughes Aircraft Company, Ground Systems Group, where
he Developed models and supervised non-destructive tests of mobile
radar systems. Mr. Glassman received his BS in Mechanical Engineering
and Biomechanics and his MS in Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics
from M.I.T.
