Daniel
Gonnella has been working in the financial sector since 1982. He
is currently Senior Vice President and Global Co-manager of Business
Continuity Planning for Lehman Brothers. Daniel has been with Lehman
since November 1996, when he joined the Firm’s Global Technology
Risk Management group to manage the development of a Disaster Recovery
Plan. Subsequent to that assignment, he assumed responsibility for
the operational management and re-engineering of the Technology
User Support and the development of a global support model for e-Commerce
clients. In addition, he managed Lehman’s technology acquisitions
and warehouse functions as well as the deployment and support of
wireless communication devices. Daniel participated in the development
and implementation of a virtual workplace platform and was involved
in the Firm’s outsourcing initiative, gaining experience with
offshore transitions and related contingency plans. Prior
to Lehman Brothers, Daniel worked at Dean Witter, Kidder Peabody
and UBS, gaining a broad range of business and technology experience
during his 25 year tenure in the financial industry.
