Harrison, AVP, The Bank of New York
James Harrison recently joined the Enterprise Architecture Group
at The Bank of New York, where he has been employed for the past
11 years. His current responsibilities include setting distributed
system infrastructure architecture for Windows, Linux and Unix platforms.
Prior to this he was part of original NT Server Engineering Group,
and led the architecture efforts for Windows 2000 Server, Windows
Server 2003 and Linux deployments. He was previously employed at
IBM for 11 years where his positions included Systems Engineer and
PC Software marketing specialist. At IBM his responsibilities included
helping large corporate customers like General Electric and The
Bank of New York implement IBM PC technology. Mr. Harrison has spoken
at Intel conferences in San Francisco and New York. He received
his B.S. from New York University.
