Bruce Johnson, Manager IS, New York, Global Interoffice Coordinator,
Bryan Cave LLP
Bruce. Johnson is responsible for the management and planning of
information technology for the two New York offices of this 810
attorney general practice law firm with 17 offices world-wide. He
is also the technology liaison between all the remote offices and
the headquarters in St. Louis. All the Bryan Cave offices are part
of a wide area network centered in St. Louis, with a disaster recovery
center in Kansas City. Mr. Johnson was previously IS Director of
Robinson Silverman which merged with Bryan Cave in July, 2002. Prior
to Robinson Silverman, Mr. Johnson was affiliated with the 700-attorney
international law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell for 8 years where
he was the Director of End User Computing. Before joining S&C,
Mr. Johnson was associated with Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now
Deloitte & Touche) for 19 years where he was responsible for
the acquisition, control and support of over 5,000 personal computers
in 100 U.S. offices. Before joining Deloitte, Mr. Johnson was with
IBM for 10 years where he held several marketing and training positions.
Mr. Johnson has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University
of Michigan. He is active in several technology user groups and
is a frequent speaker at law firm technology conferences and industry
trade shows. From 1997 until 2001, Mr. Johnson served as the New
York Region Vice President for LawNet, the national legal automation
users group. He was selected by Computerworld as one of their Premier
100 IT Leaders for 2002.
