Oryst Kunka us a founding partner of the IT Service Management Competency
Center (ITSMCC) at The Bank of New York. The purpose of this process
office is to oversee the adoption of an IT service delivery process
based on an industry standard set of best practices known as ITIL
(Information Technology Infrastructure Library). The three key objectives
of this initiative are: to align Technology Services with the current
and future needs of the Bank's businesses and customers; to improve
the quality of the services delivered; and to reduce the long-term
cost of providing these services. Additionally, Mr. Kunka oversees
the Change Management Process as the Process Owner. Mr. Kunka directly,
and indirectly manages over 12 individuals. Prior to this position
he worked at Career Blazers as NAEC Manager and at Protech Technologies
as an Engineer. Mr. Kunka was on the Windows Server 2003 Rapid Adoption
Program;. Mr Kunka also belongs to the ITIL Foundation, and is MCSE,
MCNE, CNI, and CompTIA CTT+ certified. He is a member of the IEEE
as well.
