Steve Licata, Storage Solutions Architect, Strategic Computer Solutions (SCS)
At Strategic Computer Solutions (SCS), Steve Licata is responsible for architecting storage solutions including SAN's, NAS, iSCSI, and tape for mid-range and enterprise class servers. His firm's solutions set also revolves around backup and recovery, information life management, disaster recovery, business continuity and virtualization.
Prior to SCS, Mr. Licata worked at IBM as a programmer, systems analyst, systems engineer and account manager. He has also sold and implemented solutions utilizing SAP, JDE and i2 supply chain. He was also a manager at KPMG in the area of supply chain practice, and was a Practice Manager, Storage Solutions for an IBM Business Partner.
Mr. Licata has 27 years of IT experience. He implemented the 1st total storage solutions center in Manhattan, and is an IBM Certified Specialist in Open Systems Storage Solutions; Enterprise Tape Solutions; TotalStorage Networking Solutions; and Storage Sales. Mr. Licata was a keynote speaker at the IBM San File System annoucement in 2003 and a panelist at the Storage Security Forum in New York City. He received his BS from Manhattan College in Computer Information Systems.
