Christopher (Chris) Markle, Vice President, Engineering, Sendmail
Chris Markle brings over 20 years of diverse expertise in a variety of senior management roles to Sendmail. As vice president of engineering, Chris is responsible for managing the company's technology strategy, software development and overseeing the company's engineering team.
Most recently, Markle served as vice president of engineering for the Network Management Division of Sterling Software where he managed the development activity of 95 engineers across four labs. Prior to that, Markle was vice president and CTO at Interlink Computer Science, Inc., where he developed the company's technology strategy and influenced the development of the resulting products. Markle also formed an OEM relationship with Cisco and negotiated other major joint development and marketing agreements. During his tenure at Interlink, Markle held a variety of executive level positions that included director of marketing, director of engineering and product manager for Interlink's TCP/IP products division. Markle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
