Robert McCullen is Chief Executive Officer of AmbironTrustWave
with responsibility for all aspects of the firm's day-to-day operations.
Mr. McCullen was a co-founder of Ambiron and one of the company's
two Managing Partners. Prior to Ambiron, he was the Director of
Marketing and Strategy for the Consulting Services division of global
digital trust services provider, VeriSign. In this role, Mr. McCullen
managed the profit-and-loss for the division, which consisted of
more than 300 employees and generated $150 million in annual revenues.
He also developed the business plan for the division and presented
updates to VeriSign senior management - including the CEO - on a
quarterly basis. Immediately prior to VeriSign, Mr. McCullen was
a founding Partner of Exault and managed the company's marketing,
strategy and Western region sales. Exault was profitable every quarter
and grew without outside funding before its subsequent acquisition
by VeriSign. Previous to Exault, Mr. McCullen was a Partner with
managed security solutions firm, Netrex, responsible for sales and
consulting in company's U.S. central region. Netrex was eventually
acquired by Internet Security Systems (ISS). Mr. McCullen worked
at Sun Microsystems for eight years as national accounts manager.
He also serves on the Electronic Transaction Association's (ETA)
Presidential Advisory Board and the ETA Industry Relations Committee.
