Tom Meenan is a Vice President of IT Risk and Business Recovery in MetLife. Mr. Meenan has been with MetLife for 19 years working in various aspects of IT. He took over responsibility for IT continuity in 1997 and responsibility for business continuity was added in 1999. In 2002, MetLife merged the IT and Business Continuity unit with the IT Security unit under Mr. Meenan's direction. Recently, Mr. Meenan's responsibilities were expanded to include global IT risk management, which encompasses 11 countries.
Mr. Meenan participates in a member of several industry forums on continuity and IT security, and has most recently spoken on Service Provider IT Risk Management at the International Security Forum 2004 Annual World Congress. Mr. Meenan has a MBA from Fordham University in Information Technology and has received his CBCP certification.
