Tushar Patel, Unified Communications Architect, Cisco Systems
Tushar Patel joined Cisco Systems in 2001, working in the Quality Assurance team, and for the World Wide Education team. Mr. Patel joined the Cisco sales organization in 2004 as a systems engineer, and is currently a Unified Communications Architect supporting the New York enterprise sales team. Mr. Patel is responsible for driving solutions architectures in unified communications, rich media, and core technologies, and provides high-level and detailed solutions/technology/ product consulting, technical and sales support in the New York enterprise market. In this position Mr. Patel performs in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects. He also provides consultative support to other virtual team specialists and systems engineers in New York. Prior to working for Cisco Systems, Mr. Patel was a senior network engineer for Bergen County; a regional network engineer for Metrocall; and an equity derivatives trading support member for Midland Walwyn. He has been honored at Cisco with the awards Cisco NY Voice SE of Year, and Cisco Operational SE of the Year. Mr. Patel earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting at Saint Peters College, NJ
