David Post is
responsible for third party reviews, digital forensics, policies,
and training/awareness. Prior to McGraw-Hill, David worked at Schering-Plough
where he was responsible for the network security group. At Siemens
AG, Davis was the Information Security Manager responsible for all
of North America, and interfacing North America with the worldwide
Siemens AG Information Security Program. Also at Siemens AG he managed
their North American research computer facilities, which was the
first commercial computer center, connected to the Internet (at
that time it was the Arpanet). During Dave’s AT&T Bell
Laboratories tenure he worked in both the computer center and integrated
circuit research departments where he designed computers, software
and networks. Also during his tenure at Bell Labs he worked for
the UNIX development group. Dave
holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University.
He is published in AT&T Bell Laboratories MAC Review computer
journal and the IEEE journal on integrated circuit engineering.
He has made information security presentations for CERT, ISSA, CIS,
MIS and to company organizations and meetings wherever he has worked.
Dave is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),
a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), an EnCase Certified
Forensic Examiner (EnCE). He holds an FCC Radio Telephone license
and Amateur Extra Class license.
