Ravi Subramaniam is a Grid Architect and Technical Program Manager in the IT organization of Intel Corp. He is the lead architect on the IT Grid program. He also represents Intel on the OGSA- (Open Grid Services Architecture) group and is the co-chair of the Enterprise Grid Requirements RG in the GGF (Global Grid Forum).

Mr. Subramaniam joined Intel in 1994 and has been the technical lead or key contributor on many infrastructure projects. For four years, prior to his role in the Grid program, he managed and was the lead architect on the development of the Intel Distributed Computing Platform which is a first generation Grid at Intel.

Mr. Subramaniam holds a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology and two Masters and a Ph.D. from SUNY, Buffalo.
