Bill Sztabnik is currently responsible for the Identity Management
(IDEM) Engineering Group at Citigroup. This position includes the
areas of Single Sign On (SSO), One Time Tokens (OTP), Risk Based Authentication,
PKI, Directories and Automated Provisioning/De-Provisioning. Among
other achievements at Citigroup, Mr. Sztabnik led the technical task
force that resolved the "St. Petersburg" hacker problem;
designed and implemented cash management network security architecture;
deployed an external Secure Email solution, engineered automated Identity
management solutions and an Online Registration system for an Identity
Services program. Bill has been with Citi for 24 yrs. Prior to joining
Citigroup in 1984, Mr. Sztabnik worked at an international bank where
he held positions as an EDP audit manager and credit analyst. Mr.
Sztabnik has been awarded the Citibank Chairman's Award for Outstanding
Service and is a frequent speaker at industry events such as Technology
Managers Forum's Security Forum 2008 and the MIS Training Institute.
He has also spoken before the governments of Singapore and Taiwan.
Mr. Sztabnik is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his BS
Accounting/Economics, 1978, Oswego State College, Oswego, NY.
Mr. Sztabnik led a team that won Technology Managers Forum's Best
Practice Award for Technology Innovation in 2008.
