Jim Tosone, Director, Team Leader, Global Pharmaceuticals Business Technology, Pfizer Inc
During his twenty-five years at Pfizer, Jim Tosone has had responsibility for the Business Technology groups supporting sales, marketing, drug development, finance, employee resources and strategic planning. In addition to his Business Technology responsibilities, he was a local market manager for the San Antonio/Austin sales district. Prior to joining Pfizer, Mr. Tosone worked a division of National Data corporation, where he headed up an applications development group and a software product development group. Mr. Tosone's business expertise includes knowledge and experience in the healthcare and technology industries, as well as process design and organizational design. His technical expertise includes technology architecture design and the identification and exploitation of leading-edge technologies in support of business opportunities. Mr. Tosone received his BS and MS degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken. He has been a contributor of essay articles to the Sunday New York Times and author of the book "Classical Guitarists: Conversations." He is also a graduate of the Second City Training Center and has performed with the Improv group “Demented but Mobile” at New York City venues such as The Comedy Cellar. He first joined the Technology Managers Forum in 1997.
