James Turbidy’s current responsibilities at Dresdner Kleinwort
(DKIB) include managing their Crisis Management Program, which includes
all CM documentation for the North American Management Committee,
creating and serving on the major recovery teams, and plan testing;
directing the efforts of all IT staff during disaster recovery testing
and at time of disaster; managing the outsourced vendor relationships
for both the DR data center and facilities and for the production
data center; planning and documentation; BD/DR testing; training
and notification; and Regulatory and Audit Interface. Among other
accomplishments, James successfully managed the 9/11 crisis, resulting
in DKIB’s BCP/DR Program being commended by the NY Federal
Reserve Bank. They also received the highest rating (2002) from
internal group audit for management of the BCP/DR Program. JJames
earned his MBA at The American Graduate School of International
Management and his BA at Providence College. James
is a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP). He holds
also CISA and CNC certifications. Most recently,
James recently participated in designing the recent Pandemic Exercise
sponsored by the US Treasury and SIFMA (Securities Industry / Financial
Markets Assoc).
