PRACTICE AWARDS--TWO EXAMPLES OF WORK FLOW DIAGRAM NEEDED FOR BPI
APPLICATION |
A
work flow diagram is required for the Business Process Improvement
Application (you will email it separately by email to ptate@techforum.com).
To help you better understand the type of diagram we are looking for
we have included below two examples of work flow diagrams.
A work flow diagram ideally has both text and pictures to describe
the process--and must have a "BEFORE" and "AFTER"
description. |
SAMPLE WORKFLOW DIAGRAM #1 (use the following as an EXAMPLE of what
we are looking for in a Work Flow Diagram) |
IT
MANAGER NOMINEE COMPANY: WORKFLOW DIAGRAM (example #1)
Business Process Before the Project
Prior to this project, we had a manual process. The major steps are
outlined below:
1. Employee calls (department). The call is routed to an available
employee.
2. Employee authenticates users based on their personal information.
Users would be asked questions that only they are supposed to know
a. Example
b. 2nd example
3. Agent manually verifies what the problem is.
4. Agent solves problem and communicates to the user.
(INCLUDE HERE A VISUAL DIAGRAM THE ILLUSTRATES THE "BEFORE"
PROCESS )
Business
Process After the Project:
1. Employee calls (division) and selects option to perform necessary
function.
2. The call is transferred to an automated system.
3. The system verifies the users based on (nominated vendor) technology.
4. The service is performed and communicated to the user.
5. An automated email is sent to the user.
6. Exceptions are routed to a live agent who can etc etc (describe
what agent can do).
