Awards dinner the night before

Congratulations!
If you are a winner of a Best Practice Award, either Honorable Mention or First Place, here is what we need from you. We ask that both the Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator Company/ ies and the Nominee Company ( the end-user, non-vendor company listed first on the application) provide us with:
  • 1: The name of the one person from your company (no exceptions to the one-person rule, except for IT managers from the end-user nominee company listed first on the application- see below for guidelines) who will attend our fall conference (see upcoming events for exact date) and accept the award on your company's behalf at the Best Practice Awards luncheon, which will run from ca. 12:30-1:30PM. Your representative is invited to attend the whole conference which starts at 8AM and ends at 4PM.
    Call us at 212-787-1122 with the name of that person, or see below on how to register.
  • 2: The name of the one person from your company (one person only please; no exceptions) who will attend the awards dinner the night before the conference. Call us at 212-787-1122 or email vadams@techforum.com with that information.
  • The name and contact information of the person to whom we should mail the actual trophy. The Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator company will receive a trophy; the Nominee Company (the end user) contact will also receive a trophy. AWARDS PRESENTATION DETAILS
The award winners will be recognized each year at our fall conference (see upcoming events for exact date) which will be held at Bridgewaters on 11 Fulton Street in the South Street Seaport.

Time of actual award presentation
The luncheon where the award winners will be recognized will run from 12:30PM-1:30PM. Award winners are encouraged to attend the entire conference, which runs from 8AM-4PM.
Choreography of presentation
During the Awards Luncheon, the representative from the Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator Company/ies and the representative from the Nominee Company (the end-user firm) will be announced as winners by Priscilla Tate, Executive Director of Technology Managers Forum. Your company name, representative's name, and winning category will be announced. We will ask you to come to the front to be recognized. The winners will be recognized with a round of applause once all winners are standing at the front. If you have any questions or concerns about the actual presentation, please call us at 212-787-1122. It is very simple, no speeches.
Trophy presentation
Actual trophies will not be given out at the event, but sent to your designated representative. See below for more information on ordering trophies.
Photos
Photos will be taken after you are recognized. Your picture will be taken with a mock award, and we will be happy to provide you with that photo, digital or hard copy, after the event, for free. Request that photo from Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com the week after the event.

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE FOR THE AWARDS LUNCHEON/CONFERENCE
Registration rules are different for the Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator award winners and Nominee Company (the end- user firm that uses the technology) winners. You must pre-register to attend as no onsite registration is accepted.

  • Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator Companies: Each Vendor Partner/ Integrator Company that won is allowed to send one representative from that company to the conference and Best Practice Awards Luncheon. Your representative is welcome to attend the entire event and all sessions, but should plan on being there for at least the 12:30PM-1:30PM awards luncheon.

    No exceptions can be made to the one representative rule if you are a
    Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator. Because of Technology Managers Forum's attendance guidelines, which restrict conference attendance to IT managers, we cannot accommodate additional vendor representatives. No exceptions will be made to the one-person rule (unless the winning firm happens to be a sponsoring vendor and already has attending staff).

    To register your representative who will attend the conference and accept the award when it is presented at the luncheon, please call us at 212-787-1122, or register on our website with a note in the comments field that you are a BPA winner and accepting the award. Or email our membership director Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com with your contact information.
  • Nominee Companies (the end-user who was listed first as a Nominee Company on the nomination form): Each Nominee Company that is an an end-user company (the one listed first on the firm who uses the technology) should send one representative from that company to the conference and Best Practice Awards Luncheon. The representative is encouraged to attend all sessions from 8AM-4PM, but at the very least the awards acceptor should plan on being there for the 12:30PM-1:30PM awards luncheon.

    In addition, the Nominee Company (the end-user company that uses the technology) may send to the conference additional persons, as long as those people are qualified attendees. This means the additional attendees must be senior level IT managers with purchasing influence at the winning firm. Additional representatives are encouraged to attend the sessions, as well as the luncheon.

    To register your Nominee Company representative who will attend the conference and accept the award when it is presented at the luncheon, please call us at 212-787-1122, or register on our website with a note in the comments field that you are a BPA winner, or email our membership director Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com with your contact information.

    To register additional persons who are end-user, senior level IT managers at the Nominee Company,
    register on the website, or call Victoria Adams, our membership director, at 212-787-1122. Or email her at vadams@techforum.com. We will confirm these additional registrations by email once we qualify your additional guests.

AWARDS DINNER THE NIGHT BEFORE CONFERENCE
Our dinner for the awards winners is a casual event with no speeches or awards, just a good time where judges and winners get a chance to meet each other before the event. It will be held the day before the fall conference, 6 PM- 8PM, at a New York location to be announced. Each winning company, both the Nominee Company (end user form) and the Nominee Vendor Partner/Integrator, may send one person to the dinner. Please send only one person as space is limited.

We will contact all winners in advance with further information about the dinner as soon as winners are announced. RSVP's for the dinners go to Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com

We encourage you to send a press release, but not before we send out ours out (ca Oct. 15th). Call us at 212-787-1122 for questions about content.

TROPHIES
We will provide one trophy for the Nominee Company (the end-user firm the uses the technology) and one trophy for each Nominee Vendor Partner/ Integrator (if applicable).

Trophies will be sent directly to the person you designate after the event. Please email Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com with that information.

HOTELS
We do not have a block of hotels for this event. Arrangements will have to be made by you.
