Daniel Conroy, Managing Director, Information Security, The Bank of New York Mellon
At BNY Mellon, Daniel Conroy is responsible for defining and implementing the Information Protection Program across the enterprise. This includes implementing policies and standards for information protection to facilitate compliance with laws and regulations, defining roles and responsibilities, protecting all company networks and technology infrastructure by defining security architecture and controls, monitoring for external and internal security breaches, conducting threat and vulnerability assessments, monitoring desktop and laptop security software, investigating suspicious activity and security breaches, and overseeing information classification and loss prevention. Prior to this position, Daniel was CISO at GE Money Americas.

 

Jim Hilsenrod, Strategic Accounts Manager, Actiance, Inc.
Jim Hilsenrod is an IT executive with significant expertise bringing advanced technology solutions to the commercial marketplace. Jim has been in the software security and management space since 2004 and with Actiance (formerly FaceTime) since 2007.  He is currently responsible for managing and growing the companies top financial services customers as well as developing new market opportunities with the top 30 NA financial services organizations.  Jim specializes in developing market strategies, building sales organizations, and driving direct and indirect partnerships to achieve product adoptions and standards into major enterprise. At Adobe Systems he was part of the team that brought and established Adobe Acrobat to market and establishing a defacto standard. At Mercury Interactive (now HP) he helped grow their business fivefold in the NY Metro area and was part of the group that introduced a built the Application Performance Monitoring business. 

 

Nate Isaacson, Marketing Specialist, The Guardian Life Insurance Company

Nate is a marketing specialist with over six years of insurance industry marketing experience, specializing in social media/networking (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) strategies and implementation at the agency and financial representative level, online marketing, website strategy and development. .At the Guardian Life Insurance Company,Nate is a key team member in the ongoing development of the corporate social media policy and implementation of a social media middle-ware solution. He is responsible for website strategy and development for TheLivingBalanceSheet.com, creating and executing social media strategies for both TheLivingBalanceSheet.com and The Living Balance Sheet brand; and creation and execution of online marketing strategies for The Living Balance Sheet brand to be used corporately and by Guardian General Agencies. Priscilla Tate
, Executive Director, Technology Managers Forum
Priscilla Tate is the founder and president of Technology Managers Forum (TechForum), a professional association started in 1994. TechForum has a membership base of over 750 IT managers in the New York area who work for some of the largest enterprise organizations in the world. Each year Ms. Tate produces four enterprise IT focused events for mid-to-large enterprise IT managers. Ms. Tate also founded TechForum's Best Practice Awards program in 1996. In 2008 Ms. Tate launched her own blog, TechForumTrends.com. Ms. Tate is also the host and program director of TechForum LIVE!, a webcast available as a podcast on iTunes. Ms. Tate is a sought-after industry analyst and has been quoted in numerous publications including the New York Times and Computerworld. In addition to creating content for and moderating panels at TechForum events, Ms. Tate has moderated panels at other industry events, including the Computerworld Premier 100 and RSA Conference in San Francisco. Prior to TechForum, Ms. Tate was a technology manager at Citibank, EF Hutton and Manufacturers Hanover Trust. Ms. Tate ericas. graduated from Duke University with a BA in History and an MA in Art History. She also studied at the Freie Universitat in Berlin with a scholarship administered by the Fulbright commission. She was a Columbia Fellow and did graduate work at Columbia University.

 

Dwain Kinghorn, Strategic Advisor, Viewfinity

Dwain Kinghorn is a strategic advisor to Viewfinity and a member of Viewfinity’s Advisory Council.  In this capacity, Dwain has worked closely with Viewfinity Executive Management to provide insight and direction regarding Viewfinity's vision and its strategy for executing that vision. Dwain advises and contributes to Viewfinity’s product roadmap and technology direction as they continue to expand offerings in the IT security and risk management marketplace. Dwain is a Director at SageCreek Partners, where his focus is to help companies align their product portfolio with their go- to- market and business requirements.  Prior to SageCreek, Dwain was Vice President at Symantec, in charge of the collaboration architecture.  He was instrumental in the successful adoption of the Altiris platform at Symantec. Dwain served as the CTO at Altiris from 2000 through the Symantec acquisition in 2007, and oversaw a development team that grew to over 500 people and an engineering budget in excess of $50M.   His leadership of the product teams was instrumental in Altiris’ products receiving a large number of industry awards. Dwain was instrumental in evaluating acquisition targets and has had a key role in the M&A process for many transactions.  Dwain is a successful entrepreneur having started Computing Edge in 1994..Prior to Computing Edge, Dwain worked at Microsoft in the Operating System division. Dwain graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.

 

Joe McMahon, Enterprise Solutions Architect, McAfee
Joe leads solution business development across McAfee’s Risk and Compliance business unit. He is engaged in product strategy, business process enablement, pre-sales, training and evangelism. Joe is a passionate security professional with 15 years experience designing security architectures, security metrics, system implementation, engagement and PCI compliance. He has held roles in administration, sales management, technical account management, and technical consulting at Lockheed Martin, Solidcore, and Virtual Services.

 

Shuman Roy, Vice President, Internet Strategy, Citi Private Bank

Shuman Roy is a project manager within the Citi Private Bank Internet Strategy group, responsible for delivering besti in- class solutions for ultra- high net worth clients around the world, and the teams that support them. In his current role, Shuman provides strategic planning, analysis and research specific to social media tools and mobile applications, using these new technologies to develop premier solutions for banking clientele. Prior to joining Citi Private Bank, Shuman worked as a development manager with Citi Smith Barney, where he focused on building banking- based social media tools for affluent clientele, and at UBS Wealth Management, where he helped to deliver online client-reporting solutions. His educational background includes an MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.
