GENERAL DIRECTIONS:
Bridgewaters' official address is 11 Fulton Street, which is in
the South Street Seaport (South
Street Seaport is a commercial area in Manhattan on the East
River, with shops and restaurants). But perhaps the best way to
describe the location is that it is in the South Street Seaport
area, on Front Street between Fulton and Beekman (though the address
says 11 Fulton), next to The Gap store.
IMPORTANT!: Bridgewaters entrance is on Front Street,
between Fulton and Beekman (see map below), and
closer to the corner of Beekman. You can access the conference
locale through the private entrance near the corner of Beekman and
Front Streets.
Getting there by car: If you are taking a taxi
or driving, the best thing to do is to either get off at Water St
and Fulton or Beekman, and walk tow blocks down to Front St (Fulton
is closed to cars, and Beekman goes one way outwards), or if you
want to get really close, have the taxi drive down Peck to Front,
take a right on Front, and leave you at Beekman and Front. The entrance
is right there on Front.
Getting there on foot: If you are walking from
the subway or bus, The South Street Seaport is hard to miss. There
are lovely shops and restaurants, and quaint cobblestone streets.
Walking from the subway, you will walk down Fulton Street towards
the Seaport; once you hit Front Street, take a left onto Front Street,
and walk down past the Gap store to the corner of Beekman where
the entrance to Bridgewaters- also know as "The Glazier Group"-is.
MORE DETAILS ON TRAVEL IN MANHATTAN:
Taxi and Livery Service: Bridgewaters is technically
at 11 Fulton, but the entrance is on Front Street, between Beekman
and Fulton. We suggest you tell your driver to go to the South Street
Seaport. Then tell the driver you will be going to Beekman and Front
Street in the South Street Seaport, and to either let you
off at Water Street and Beekman or Fulton Street and Beekman, and
walk down two blocks to Front Street. Or tell the driver to turn
on Peck Street and then right agin on Front Street and drive two
blocks to Beekman and Fulton (that will take you to the door but
will take a lot longer than getting off at Water Street and walking).
Subway: For a current subway map go to: http://mta.info/nyct/maps/submap.htm
