| All
exhibitors and sponsors of Technology Managers Forum conferences
are entitled to invite an unlimited number of VIP guests WHO MEET
OUR GUIDELINES (see below) to this event. Because we are a by-invitation-only
conference and restrict individual entry to senior IT managers who
are not vendors, Technology Managers Forum must ultimately approve
your guests before we allow them to attend.
This ensures everyone who comes to your table is a potential buyer--not
a competitor or job seeker.
Also-
see below for our privacy policy regarding these
lists.
Questions?
Need more information? Wonder if you are inviting the right person?
Call us at 212-787-1122 or email Victoria Adams at vadams@techforum.com.
We'll be happy to guide you through the process, provide you with
an emailable .html invitation, and/or invite your guests for you.
Here are some
key questions and answers about the VIP Guest Passes.
HOW MANY
GUESTS MAY I INVITE?
Your sponsorship of a Technology Managers Forum event entitles your
company to an unlimited number of guest passes for your customers
or potential customers who are IT managers and who meet our criteria.
WHAT ARE
THE GUIDELINES? WHOM CAN I INVITE?
You may invite ONLY IT managers only from mid-to-large companies.
No vendor companies. Our general rule is:
1: companies with 200 million revenue or more.
2: IT managers who manage 200 users or more.
WHO IS NOT
ELIGIBLE?
No vendors, other than your table staff. No channel partners. No
marketing or sales people from other companies. And no IT managers
at vendor companies. What's a vendor company? Anyone who sells their
products or services to IT managers.
Other guests
not eligible include: search firm reps; non-sponsoring vendor reps;
sales people (other than your staff); educators and students; small
companies (we request invitees work for companies with 200 million
in revenue or more); venture capital firms; press; unemployed persons;
and anyone we deem not appropriate for the conference.
OKAY, I HAVE
MY LIST-WHAT DO I DO WITH IT?
If you provide us (Victoria Adams, Technology Managers Forum, 212-787-1122
vadams@techforum.com is
your contact for this) with a guest list (kept confidential-we don't
release these to other vendors), we will email your contacts
with an invitation-- personalized with your company's name--
to attend the conference as your company's guest, and follow up
three times-at least. Please provide us with your list in EXCEL
including email addresses, if possible.
CAN I INVITE
MY GUESTS MYSELF?
Yes-with the caveat that anyone whom you register or who registers
using your name will be declined if they do not meet Technology
Managers Forum's attendance guidelines (see above). So check
with us first if you are concerned about the appropriateness of
your guests. It can save embarrassment later.
Then, if you
wish, we can provide you with an email invitation that you can adapt
using your company name. Please let us know and we will get that
out to right away.
CAN MY GUEST
WALK-IN?
No. If you make your own invitations, and receive RSVPS, these
must be passed on to us! Guests MUST BE PREREGISTERED with Technology
Managers Forum. No walk-ins are allowed, since we must pre-qualify
all our attendees.
WHY SHOULD
I TAKE THE TIME TO INVITE GUESTS?
This is a perk of being an exhibitor or sponsor. Guests who receive
invitations are flattered. Ours is a top-level conference and attendance
is by invitation only.
Also, we even
if your potential guests cannot attend, they genuinely appreciate
the invitation and remember your company's name.
And we make
a coordinated and concentrated effort to contact your guests quickly
and follow-up on a regular basis-something your sales people probably
don't have time to do.
HOW DO I
GET MY LIST TO YOU?
Please provide us with your guest's name, title, company, email
address, (phone and mailing address optional). You may provide us
with as many names as you wish--NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, AND CONNECTICUT
customers preferably, but whatever you wish. We will email them
and invite them on your behalf to attend the event, as your guest,
for free. They are invited specifically on behalf of your company.
Also, please be reassured we do NOT share any of your lists of potential
invitees with other vendors.
PRIVACY
POLICY
