TechForum's Best Practice Awards (BPA) is an annual program sponsored by Technology Managers Forum. The awards recognize quality achievements in technology management that provide a competitive advantage to the business environment. The term "Best Practice" denotes a standard of excellence that has been achieved within an organization and refers to a process that can be quantified, adapted, and repeated. 2010

Deadline for Entries

Entries will be accepted from April 1, 2010 to July 31, 2010.


Criteria for Entering
Before entering your project in any TechForum Best Practice Awards category, please make sure your project meets the following criteria.


  • Timeliness : The project or major phases of the project nominated must have been funded in or after January 2009 and before April of 2010.
  • Scope : Projects must have had an impact on at least 200 users and have been implemented in an organizations with a minimum of $100 million in gross annual income. Non-profit organizations with funding within this range are eligible to enter.
  • IT Management/ End-User Requirement : Vendors or end-users may submit nominations but vendors must have an IT manager end-user to nominate (end-users do not need to nominate a vendor partner unless they choose to). When a vendor submits a winning nomination, the award will be shared with the management team in the IT organization. You must have an end-user company to nominate. We cannot accept vendor or PR submissions without true end user firms nominated that uses the technology.
