Conference Speaking Sponsorships

half-day TechForum Roundtable Speaking Sponsorships
Speaking opportunities are available for all Technology Managers Forum events. While at least half of our speaking opportunities are reserved for IT managers who are IT manager members of Technology Managers Forum and are active end users of technology, there are also a substantial number of speaker opportunities, including keynote positions, for qualified vendor representatives who are sponsors of our events.

Vendor companies who purchase Gold or Silver Sponsorships for either TechForum Security Forum conferences (two full-day Security Forums a year) or TechForum Roundtables (two half-day--8:30AM-2PM--events per year) are entitled to speak at the event they sponsor as part of their sponsorship package. There is no call for papers for our events--anyone who wishes to speak must sponsor the event on a Gold or Silver level (excepting the end-user IT managers, whom we choose from our membership).

Technology Managers Forum attendees are all senior IT managers at mid to large companies, with the majority representing the Fortune 1000. Therefore, vendor content is vetted by Technology Managers Forum management prior to the event for applicability to the topic and relevance to the attendees. Vendor speakers must be knowledgeable about IT management issues, and we will actively work with vendors to discuss the best company representative for whatever topic they will speak on. Conference and half-day TechForum Roundtable topics are chosen by TechForum director, Priscilla Tate, and Technology Managers Forum members, but vendor suggestions for topics are also welcome, and vendors who are Silver and Gold sponsors are invited to be active participants during the selection process.
Security Forum Conference (all day) Speaking Sponsorships

  • Gold Sponsorship: Includes: Individual 30-minute keynote speaking opportunity for a qualified company representative. No product demonstrations or pitches. Ultimate approval for content rests with Technology Managers Forum management. Topics must be timely and relevant to senior IT managers at Fortune 1000 companies. Preference given to case studies. Six foot exhibit table included.
  • Silver Sponsorship: Includes: Participation in a 45-minute panel discussion by a qualified company representative in one of three Corporate Challenges-panel discussions-that address specific topics relevant to the conference subject matter. Topics are ultimately chosen by members and management, though vendors are welcome to suggest topics. Six foot exhibit table included.
  • Bronze Sponsorship: No speaking, exhibit table only.
TechForum Roundtable (half-day) Speaking Sponsorships

TechForum Roundtables are half-day meetings that run from 8:30AM-2:00PM and are held in downtown NYC. Approximately 40-70 senior IT executives attend each half-day TechForum Roundtable meetings (depending on topic--please ask us about projected attendance of the event you wish to sponsor. Go to Upcoming Events page for current topics) . Topics for the TechForum Roundtables are generally decided by Technology Managers Forum members and management, but topics may also be suggested by sponsoring vendors. Topics should be timely and relevant to senior IT managers at Fortune 1000 companies.

There are two categories of sponsorship of half-day TechForum Roundtable meetings:

  • Gold Sponsorship: A vendor representative makes a solo presentation, ca. 30 minutes.
  • Silver Sponsorship: A vendor representative participates on a Corporate Challenge panel discussion with 2-3 other participants, usually one other vendor and one to two IT managers, for ca. 45 minutes.
