Keith Barros, Sr. Director Information Security, Seton Hall University

Keith has over 30 years of IT management experience and has managed at all levels in consulting, manufacturing, retail, financial and higher education. Keith has also been an adjunct professor teaching graduate and undergraduate classes in technology. He has a B.S. in Management Science from Kean University and an M.B.A in Marketing from Seton Hall University. In 2012 Keith was a reviewer for the book Microsoft SharePoint for Business Executives: Q&A Handbook published by PACKT Publishing.

Ankur Desai, Lead Systems Security Architect, Wells Fargo

Ankur Desai is an experienced security evangelist with more than twenty years of professional experience architecting and implementing technologies to secure medium and large-scale environments including cyber security, cloud migration, big data analytic platform, and providing expertise in application, infrastructure, system and data security.  He has held architectural and program management positions in implementing information technology solutions and cyber security solutions for complex application and infrastructure portfolios to meet compliance standards. Ankur possesses expertise in IT Security Framework Implementations with a strong background in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including System Design and Development.

Michael Gorelik, CTO, Morphisec

Michael Gorelik is CTO of Morphisec, where he leads the malware research operation and sets technology strategy. He has extensive experience leading diverse cybersecurity software development projects and experience in the software industry in general. Prior to Morphisec, Michael was the VP R&D at MotionLogic GmbH and before that served in senior leadership positions at Deutsche Telekom Labs. Michael has extensive experience as a red teamer, reverse engineer and contributor to the MITRE CVE database. He has worked extensively with the FBI and US Department of Homeland Security on countering global cybercrime. Michael is a noted speaker, having presented at multiple industry conferences, such as SANS, BSides, and RSA. Michael holds Bsc and Msc degrees from the Computer Science department at Ben-Gurion University, focusing on synchronization in different OS architectures. He also jointly holds seven patents in the IT space.

Bob Lam, CEO & Co-founder, ShardSecure

Bob Lam has been an influential voice in cybersecurity for two decades. Previously, Bob was the co-founder of Bayshore Networks, a leading Industrial IoT cybersecurity company, and VP, Business Development at NeoAccel (acquired by VMware) and Pareto Networks (acquired by Aerohive). Bob also served as Managing Director at JP Morgan/Bear Stearns where he led the cybersecurity practice. He received his MBA from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University.

Richard Maathey, Senior Director and Head of S&P Dow Jones Indices (DJI) Cybersecurity

Currently BISO and head of Cybersecurity at S&P Dow Jones Indices, Richard Maathey has over 20 years of experience in technology and information security, public key infrastructure, policy management, risk management, risk governance and controls, disaster recovery, business continuity, security operations and security in the software development life cycle. Prior to this, Richard held positions as Director, Cyber at Capital One, Director and BISO at DTCC, and Global BISO for 5 business units in 3 verticals within Experian Marketing Services.  Richard graduated from Pace University with an MS in Computer Science and from Hofstra University with a BS in Electrical Engineering. His security certifications include a CISM and CISSP.

David Monnier, Chief Evangelist, Team Cymru

David has been with Team Cymru since 2007. Prior, he served in the US Marine Corps as a Non-Commissioned Officer. He then worked at Indiana University where he helped to build some of the most powerful computational systems of their day. He transitioned to cybersecurity and helped launch the Research and Education Networking ISAC. At Team Cymru, he has been an engineering leader a Community Services team member, and a security analyst. David led efforts to secure the firm’s intelligence infrastructure and established processes the firm relies on today. Currently, David assists CSIRT teams worldwide and fosters data sharing partnerships.

Chris Pozezanac, Sr. Solutions Architect, Elastic

A skilled technology professional, Chris brings nearly 20 years of experience building solutions for global enterprises in data storage, security, and the hybrid cloud.  He is currently responsible for strategic accounts at Elastic as a solutions architect helping customers build world-class search, observability, and security solutions.  Prior to Elastic, Chris led a global team of solution architects at NetApp supporting some of the largest financial services and telecommunications clients in the world.  Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University.

Lenny Thaw, Information Security Officer, PC Richard & Son

Lenny Thaw is the Information Security Officer for P.C. Richard & Son, the largest chain of private, family-owned appliance, television, electronics, and mattress stores in the United States. Lenny joined P.C. Richard & Son in 2015 and now leads the programs and teams responsible for the information security for their corporate office, 66 store locations, warehouses and more than 2,000 employees. With over 30 years’ experience in various IT and security domains gained from consulting with businesses in the airline, medical, educational, retail, legal and other industry sectors, as well as from his experiences as an educator and principal in private schools, Lenny brings a unique and holistic approach to applying information security to the business. These skills and experiences give Lenny the ability to communicate strategic, operational, and technical objectives with all levels of employees and partners.

Praveen Manohar,  Security Solutions Architect, Radware

Praveen is a computer engineering graduate with more than 15 years’ experience in the IT field. Prior to his position as Security Solutions Architect at Radware, he was Director Solutions Arhitecture- Bot Management also at Radware. He started his career as a Support Engineer with CSS Corp, moved to Satyam BPO as Sr. Technical Support Engineer, worked as a Product Specialist for ManageEngine NetFlow Analyzer and as a HeadGeek at Solarwinds., and at ShieldSquare as Director of Product Evangelism.

Priscilla Tate, Executive Director & Founder, TechForum

Priscilla Tate is the founder and managing director of Technology Managers Forum (TechForum), an association which has a current membership of over 800 IT managers who work for mid-range and F1000 organizations in New York. Prior to founding Technology Managers Forum in 1994, Ms.Tate had a career in enterprise technology management, working at Citibank, EF Hutton and Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now Chase). She was also a very active participant in the user group movement both in the US and in Europe. Today, Ms.Tate produces Security Forum, an invitation-only conference held twice yearly in New York City, and consults with companies who want to expand their reach into large enterprise organizations. 

During her rich and varied technology career she has worked as an author and editor for numerous trade publications and she hosted and produced weekly radio shows and podcasts. She is a sought after moderator for industry panels, including the Computerworld Premier 100 and the RSA Conference in San Francisco. Both SC Magazine and the Global Mobile Awards have tapped her to serve as a judge of enterprise products and services. 

Ms. Tate graduated from Duke University with a BA in History and an MA in Art History. She also studied at the Freie Universitat in Berlin with a scholarship administered by the Fulbright commission. She was a Columbia Fellow and did graduate work at Columbia University.
